ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PAINT

At Emiliana Serbatoi, an Italian company specialising in manufacturing metal tanks, we’ve always been committed to environmental sustainability. As part of our green philosophy, we have has chosen to use high-speed drying water-based paints, starting with “Emilian green,” for the painting of our tanks. This high-quality paint is not only better for the environment, but it also reduces production and delivery times.

In 2019, we installed a photovoltaic system in our headquarters in Campogalliano di Modena to meet energy needs. Our continued commitment to environmental issues is also evident in our choice of paint. We’ve transitioned from solvent-based to water-based paints and have evaluated different solutions to compress the time required for the drying process at ambient temperatures.

Furthermore, we have focused on identifying paints that provide a high degree of resistance not only to the chemical agents of the fuels contained in the tanks but also to severe atmospheric conditions. Inverpur/R, developed by Inver laboratory during the Coronavirus pandemic, fits this need perfectly. The adoption of this new topcoat is in line with our green philosophy and our commitment to environmental sustainability.

A recent technical study published in IPCM® International Paint & Coating Magazine, emphasises our attention to environmental issues and highlights the importance of our choice of paint. With our stance on environmental sustainability and the use of high-speed drying water-based paints, such as Inverpur/R, proves as an excellent example of how we are striving to make a positive impact on environmental sustainability.
